Throughout the 12-week internship, students will work on projects that have a measurable impact on our business. Potential Internships in this field included (but not limited to): System Validation: These positions are responsible for system validation and post-production activities for NVIDIA data center server products, such as HGX baseboards, DGX Servers, or DGX Workstations. You will need to maintain a close relationship with all members of the architecture, HW & SW design teams to guarantee they are prepared to rigorously test and debug all new features and changes made during the product development. Hardware Design: The team is looking for talented Hardware Design Interns with strong backgrounds in electrical engineering, who have a curiosity about pursuing a career in the hardware product design industry. We are seeking people with a passion for working with a close-knit, multi-disciplinary team, who enjoy hands-on work with cutting-edge visual computing platforms and devices. Primary responsibilities will include Hardware Testing, Debug, and Validation of new NVIDIA products to ensure they meet performance, functional, and quality objectives. Mechanical Engineering: Help craft and test new products. You will be part of a diverse multi-functional team researching and developing new concepts and materials for our next generation of products. You must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a strong academic mechanical engineering background. Silicon Solutions: Working with the Silicon Solutions Engineering Team at NVIDIA, you will be responsible for productizing NVIDIA's chips into groundbreaking consumer, professional, server, mobile, and automotive solutions. What we need to see: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree within a relevant or related field. Depending on the role, prior experience or knowledge requirements could include programming skills and technologies such as Python, Java, Perl, Tcl, board-level design, data center systems, Linux, experience in lab environments & tools, CAD software/programming languages (i.e. Solidworks, ProE, Creo, Catia, Unigraphics, etc.), MATLAB, MOSFETs, etc. Compensation: The pay range for this position is $19 - $93 per hour.
