We’re looking for a motivated Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join a highly enthusiastic team that values integrity and teamwork. This is a full-time position that involves reporting to the Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering. The internship is scheduled to start in Summer, 2024.
Job Responsibilities:
You will be working in one of today’s most exciting technologies. Some of the key tasks to perform are:
- Assist with Assembly Line issues to improve workmanship.
- Design and fabrication of manufacturing tooling and fixtures.
- Develop manufacturing process improvements.
- Propose new ideas to save on manufacturing costs, labor, or improve quality.
- Test and present findings for assigned projects.
- Create documentation and process flow diagrams, based on assigned projects.
- Ability to support multiple concurrent tasks.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
Qualifications:
- Graduate or you are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials and Civil Engineering. And you are successfully maintaining an above-average GPA, preferably 3.0 or higher.
Skills and Experience:
- Working knowledge of PC business software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), VBA, SQL, and Tableau (Or Amazon QuickSight).
- Highly motivated and a self-starter.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must demonstrate a bias for action and implementation.
- Proven and demonstrated teamwork skills.
Compensation:
The compensation for the role is $26- $45.
