Job Title: Construction Superintendent (Road & Bridge Projects)

Location: Indianapolis & Ft Wayne, IN area

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee our road and bridge projects. In this role, you will manage on-site construction teams, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain orderliness on-site. You will also liaise with inspection authorities for approvals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations at construction sites.
• Hire, train, and manage construction workers.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Supervise crews of 10-50 employees across multiple projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes and regulations.
• Coordinate work to maintain productivity and an adequate workforce.
• Work directly with the project manager and other specialists.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in construction site management, project management, and organizational skills.
• OSHA certification is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Experience managing subcontractors and vendors.
• Experience with concrete and materials for bridge/road repairs.
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore) is beneficial.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with self-performing contractors.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
