Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve manufacturing methods
- Automate processes to reduce labor
- Purchase maintenance/repair materials
- Estimate production time and labor requirements
- Apply statistical methods to determine future requirements and plant capacity
- Improve manufacturing methods
- Perform root cause analysis of manufacturing process issues
- Assist in installing, servicing, troubleshooting and repairng of production equipment
- Be responsible for the plant maintenance department
- Degree from technical school is preferred
- At least 5 years of recent experience in manufacturing maintenance
- At least 3 years of management experience
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC systems
