TalentPlug LLC is Hiring a Laboratory Technician Near Benton, MI

Summary:

  • The technician will provide product and component testing, analysis, and problem solving while developing and applying a strong understanding of appliance operations and lab procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • In this position, the technician will take a role in developing, executing, and documenting new test procedures, gathering knowledge through test results and applying that information to analyse problems for root cause.
  • The technician is also responsible for maintaining a strong communication link to the supervisor and related departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous knowledge and work with water filters and Refrigerators preferred*
  • Continuous Improvement and 5S mind-set is a plus*

Minimum Qualifications

  • Perform and coordinate evaluations with direct supervision
  • Generate, analyse, communicate, and formally document test data relevant to the product and component approval process.
  • Communicating results with recommendations.
  • Ability to use standard powered equipment to build structures.
  • 2 years of experience with product testing lab operations
  • Technical Certificate or Associate's Degree with preference in a Science, Engineering or Design
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suites
