Job description:
Intake of new project proposals. Attention to detail is key as this person is on point to track and manage scope and details of a large portfolio. This is also a dynamic area and there will be a need to execute on a tactic level, staring with tracking information and the nuance to that is that that information needs to be kept in a way that information can be relayed to multiple leadership teams and go back at later date and pick up immediately were left off. Large portfolio, being able to communicate with leadership, changing needs and sudden demands is key. Sr leadership exposure and knowledge of investment space and how that works with overall strategy is another significant key to the role.
Skills:
• Competent with Excel
• High comfort level with supporting SR leadership
• Strong written skills – communication skills
• Able to glean additional information as needed, understand where more info is needed.
• Financial analysis experience – key and most preferred than education background.
• Helpful to have healthcare but not critical.
• Previous candidate had some previous EMPO exposure but not necessarily required, the financial background/experience is more important
Required Job Qualifications:
This candidate Absolutely has to have Payor Experience, they have to understand the business, the challenges, and then have all the Statistical Analysis and Reporting background they are looking for.
Someone else coming from a different vertical is not going to work for this role!
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics.
Extensive Health insurance industry experience with the ability to surface and resolve complex problems.
Able to apply deep expertise to produce ad-hoc datasets, reports and analysis using system reporting tools, business data and historical market knowledge.
Access, Tableau, SQL, Visual Basic or other programming skills.
