Legal Counsel Job Description The Legal Counsel will provide legal support on a range of transactions for a variety of internal business groups and serve as a member of the corporate legal department and collaborate with and support our management team and various functions across the company. This position requires a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school, passing of the California State Bar Examination, and at least two (2) years’ work experience prior to entering law school. Litigation support experience preferred. Previous experience with Corporate law. Familiarity with various legal documents, customer contracts, agreements, real state contracts. Strong analytics and problem-solving skills. Ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities Responsibilities Support the mission of the legal department for associated companies, by performing tasks as assigned by the General Counsel. Support and manage various litigation. Review, negotiate, draft. and revise a variety of commercial contracts from the As required, manage in-take of contract requests, and conduct internal client interviews related to contracts and other legal Develop and maintain strong business relationships with the various internal business groups requiring legal support. Ensure the legal department staff is kept apprised of material developments and matters on a timely basis exercising sound business and legal judgment to enable General Counsel to discharge their duties and responsibilities. Demonstrate leadership and team-working skills in support of a collaborative environment. Organize, direct, and provide legal support in specified areas under the direction of the General Counsel. Exercise discretion and maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $54,889.20 - $144,103.13 per year
