As a Senior Accountant on this team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization under the direction of the Controller. You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of financial accounting and reporting. Your expertise will contribute to the strategic decision-making process and help drive the company's growth and success.
Position Highlights
- Heavily remote schedule
- Salary: $100,000-120,000 bonus
- Career development and growth
- Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with the finance team to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor variances and provide insights to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Ensuring accurate and timely recognition of revenue in compliance with ASC 606 standards. Review contracts and assess revenue recognition implications for software products and services.
- Conducting financial analysis and performance evaluation to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Provide recommendations to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned by the Controller and CFO.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Must have a CPA or be an active CPA candidate
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate and/or public accounting
- Experience within the financial services or technology industry highly preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present financial information to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
