THE FIRM
Great opportunity for a talented Architectural Technologist with solid Revit skills and experience across working across various project types including institutional projects, to join a dynamic firm in downtown Toronto.This firm have multiple offices and a variety of mid to large institutional, commercial, infrastructure and mixed-use projects across Canada.THE JOB
This role will have you completing full sets of working drawing packages in Revit, construction documents, blue prints, building permits for submission and working with clients and design teams to facilitate successful project execution.WHAT'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate has the following background;
- Bachelor of Architecture
- 4 to 10 years years' experience as an Architectural Technologist or Architectural Designer in an architecture firm dealing with complex designs
- Possess strong knowledge of building codes and bylaws
- Intermediate to advanced Revit skills; ability to anticipate design/compliance issues that impact scheduling or budget concerns
- Project coordination & contract administration experience is an asset; translating visions into functional designs
- Experience working with Revit as well as Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience visiting job sites to make progress reports and track project compliance
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams; Architects, Engineers consultants and Project Managers
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
