This role does require occasional travel for key project milestones - typically no more than a night or two.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and internal staff.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Budget Management:
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial goals.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.
- Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and positive relationships.
- Communicate project status, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure work meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Respond promptly to issues and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Travel Coordination:
- Effectively plan and manage travel logistics for project needs.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to work in diverse locations.
- Experience:
- The ideal candidate is based in the greater Phoenix area and can travel to construction jobsites throughout the country for key project milestones. A candidate who can outline prior experience working on high-end retail tenant improvement projects and/ or restaurant buildouts will get great consideration.
- Skills:
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Communication:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
