The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic HR Payroll Generalist to seamlessly integrate our HR and Payroll functions. Positioned at the core of our operations, you will ensure the team is supported through precise payroll processing, effective benefits management, and strict compliance with regulations. This vital role underpins our culture of efficiency and compliance, directly contributing to our strategic objectives.

What You'll Do:

• Process weekly and biweekly payroll with precision.
• Administer benefits and 401(k) plans, ensuring compliance and employee satisfaction.
• Collaborate with our finance team to maintain accuracy in financial reporting.
• Manage HRIS data integrity and professionally address payroll inquiries.
• Proactively stay ahead of changes in payroll laws, implementing necessary updates.
• Assist the HR team in promoting a positive work environment through various employee-related activities.

Who You Are:

• Possessing a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Bringing 3 to 5 years of HR experience, with a focus on payroll and benefits within union environments.
• Proficient in payroll systems like Paychex, and well-versed in employment laws, especially in Maryland, Washington, and California.
• With outstanding interpersonal and analytical skills, you effortlessly navigate payroll and HR challenges with integrity.
