Holiday InnExpress & Suites Corona is seeking a SalesCoordinator to join our team at an established hotel property where ourstandards are high, and we reward hard work and dedication. Ourideal candidate willassist with group and leisure sales with on-property service and customerrelations. The Sales Coordinator will act as theprimary liaison and support for sales at the property level, and willeffectively and efficiently follow up on proposals, contracts, andappointments. • Review and report sales productivity highlights at weekly revenuemanagement calls
• Compile and submit weekly productivity and activity report
• Serve as liaison between property, customer, and corporate sales
• Work with corporate sales to set and complete RFP’s
• Actively follow up with all in-house sales leads and leads provided
• Use displacement analysis, occupancy forecast, area knowledge, and theadvice of the hotel general manager to quote competitive group and corporaterates
• Create, send, and follow up group and corporate proposals promptly
• Create, maintain, and follow up on all group and corporate contracts
• Cover shifts at the front desk based on hotel needs, provide breaks forthe front desk when requested
• Assist with revenue generation through group/tour contacts, corporateleads, and meeting space inquiries based on business demands.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as perhotel procedures to ensure
• excellent quality and service
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High schooldiploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s orassociate degree in hospitality management, business, or relevant field, OR,commensurate sales/business development experience
• Hotel salesexperience preferred
• Prior hotelfront desk experience preferred
