Our Southern California flagship office is hiring a Sales Representative to join our team of professionals in a growth-potential position. Our ideal candidate is confident and customer-service driven, with a deep understanding of pool and spa construction. Our Sales Representative will help generate sales by responding to inbound contact from potential buyers, and build a sales database of their own through business development and community outreach. Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by consistently identifying opportunities and closing deals
  • Generate leads and prospect potential customers through various channels such as networking, referrals, online research, and participation in industry events
  • Understand customer requirements, preferences, and budgetary constraints to provide tailored solutions that align with their needs and expectations
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships, fostering long-term partnerships by providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries promptly, and maintaining regular communication throughout the sales process
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of pool and spa construction, including their technical specifications, features, and benefits, to effectively address customer inquiries
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to provide informed recommendations
  • Effectively manage the sales pipeline, tracking and prioritizing leads, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing regular updates on sales activities, forecasts, and progress toward targets
  • Network with the community to build awareness of the brand
  • Attend the pre-site meeting with the homeowner and PM
  • Collaborate with the content team consistently to develop content ideas and leverage published pieces in our sales process
  • Foster customer loyalty and satisfaction by providing post-sales support, addressing concerns, and maintaining regular follow-up to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and potential for future referrals
  • Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements, ensuring all sales activities are conducted with integrity and professionalism
Requirements
Successful Candidates Must Have:
  • Proven record of achieving sales targets, with an ability to identify opportunities, close deals, and generate leads
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and cater to customer needs, fostering long-term relationships with exceptional customer service
  • Strong understanding of pool and spa construction, technical specifications, features, and benefits. Up-to-date with industry trends
  • Comfortable networking within the community to raise brand awareness, capable of meeting with homeowners and project managers to define needs
  • Cooperative spirit, able to collaborate with different teams, particularly the content team, and utilize content effectively in the sales process
  • Committed to fostering customer loyalty by providing post-sales support and regular follow-ups
  • Adherence to high ethical standards, company policies, and professional conduct in all sales activities
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage sales pipeline, track leads, maintain documentation, and provide regular updates
