Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Assignand supervise the Physical Therapy Assistant’s patient care activities
• Assignand supervise the Rehab Technician’s on-patient activities
• Determinethe necessary PT based on prescriptions/referrals/patient condition/records
• Reviewpatient records and create/carry out treatment plans
• Overseeall assistant, technician, and student job assignments and activities
• Givelectures, provide PT and related training for in-house staff and outside groups
• Provideanalytics and organizational oversight for the facility
• Assistancewith payroll, filing, requisitions, and other duties as assigned
• Delegateappropriate patient care activities to the PTA in accordance with skill level
• Reviewphysician's referrals and patient medical records/condition to determine PTtreatment
• Evaluateand record the effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments toachieve maximum benefit
• Planand conduct lectures and training programs on PT and related topics for medicalstaff, students, and community groups

Successful Candidates Must Have:

• Masterof Physical Therapy degree (MPT) or in the process of obtaining
• Currentstate licensure issued by the NJ Board of Physical Therapy or in the process ofobtaining
• Experiencewith EMR preferred
• Knowledgeof insurance billing and coding preferred
