Talisman Advisory Partner is Hiring a Regional Operations Manager / Principal Near San Francisco, CA

Our client, a leading environmental consulting firm headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking a dynamic Regional Operations Manager / Principal for their Portland, Oregon office. As a pivotal leadership role within the organization, this position offers an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence and business growth in the region.
Key responsibilities for this role will include (but not limited to):
  • Providing strategic leadership and professional development for regional staff members.
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations, including budgetary activities and office administration.
  • Developing and executing regional goals to enhance performance and profitability.
  • Leading business development efforts to achieve revenue targets and expand client base.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborating with the Executive Leadership Team to align regional strategies with organizational objectives.
Required and desired skillsets, experience and qualifications for this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Federal and State environmental regulations, with experience in multi-media compliance, due diligence, site characterization, and remediation.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience in team management and development.
  • Proficiency in proposal preparation, project management, and budget tracking.
  • Professional license or certifications (RG, PE, CHMM, etc.) preferred.
  • Established professional network in Portland and across Oregon is advantageous.
  • Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
