Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Event Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the planning and execution of various events, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in event management.




Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of events from inception to completion.


• Help manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and equipment rentals.


• Coordinate communication with vendors, suppliers, and venue staff.


• Support on-site event management, including setup, breakdown, and attendee assistance.


• Maintain accurate records of event budgets and expenses.


• Assist with marketing efforts related to events, including social media promotion and email campaigns.


• Provide excellent customer service to clients and event attendees.


• Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.


• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with event management software.
