Part-time position available for a Scribe to document Provider and patient interactions during office visit, consistent with actions of a Scribe. Other duties include: order diagnostic procedures and studies, including x-ray examinations, MRI's, bone scans, etc.; manage discharge of patients with appropriate disposition, follow-up planning, adjunctive therapy management and educational handouts as described by the Physician or Provider; respond to telephone inquiries of patients.

Applicant must have advanced knowledge of medical terminology, preferably within orthopedics, for the ability to document a detailed medical history; the ability to effectively communiate and work with Physicians, patients, families, staff, and other health care professionals and management; the ability to work with and maintain confidentiality; and the ability to work as a team player seeking continuously to improve the quality of patient care.

Preference will be given to those with prior experience scribing. 

Position works 20-25 hours per week.
