Tallassee Veterinary Associates is Hiring a Kennel Technician Near Tallassee, AL
Tallassee Veterinary Associates is a small, privately owned and operated practice in Tallassee, AL. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a kennel technician. The ideal candidate would be able to work independently and have a positive attitude, as well as have an interest in working with animals and their care. The candidate is preferably energetic, outgoing, self-motivated, and willing to learn. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm, with one day off during the week and rotating weekends. This job may include cross-training and assisting vet techs, as needed.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Able to work 36-40 hours per week
- Computer literate / typing skills
- Organizational skills
Preferred experience:
- Has worked with animals before
- Good communication skills
- Assist in surgeries/appointments
- Run and analyze fecal samples / heartworm tests
Job Type: Full-time
Shift:
- 10 hour shift
Work Days:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
Experience:
- Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
