Talon Recruiting has partnered with a leading manufacturer of heavy construction and mining equipment. We are in search of an ISO Coordinator to join their team in Ripley, TN.
Job Overview
The ISO & Documentation Coordinator will lead the Company RPO site in acquiring and maintaining ISO certification in Safety and Quality, which includes establishing and managing the Integrated Safety & Quality Management System and document control process. This position will be responsible to schedule, coordinate, and conduct internal audits and any external audits required. The ISO & Documentation Coordinator will also communicate with registrar, coordinate registrar audits, and drive corrective actions in response to all internal audit findings, registrar non-conformances, and system weaknesses. This position will also support the continuous improvement leader with driving improvements across the business. Scope Responsible for positively impacting the P&L by driving improvements in the following areas: $23m warehouse annual operations spend, $17m Third Party Packager spend, $1 billion in annual shipments, 2,500,000 orders annually to over a thousand domestic and international locations. $60 million in annual freight costs, 120,000 customer calls annually, and 50,000 technical calls annually. Also supports improving a recordable rate currently at 3.0.
Key Job Responsibilities
Maintain the Integrated Safety & Quality Management System and documents used by all departments to ensure full compliance with ISO Standards - 20%
Schedule, coordinate, and conduct internal and external audits as required by the ISO Standards, including training and maintaining certification for internal auditors - 20%
Manages the Corrective/Preventive Actions process and drives CAPAs to closure, including corrective actions in response to internal and external audit findings, customer issues, and overall system weaknesses - 20%
Manage Document Control system to comply with ISO Standards, including reviewing, updating, and monitoring the Quality System Documentation - 20%
Works with the continuous improvement leader to drive improvement in all processes across the RPO site - 20%
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university; or 2 years of college or related experience
Must have a complete understanding and proficiency with ISO 9001. Experience with ISO 45001 is also preferred.
Experience as an Internal Auditor for either of the above standards preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office products, primarily the use of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Teams
Outstanding work ethic, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
Takes initiative and works well independently
