Overview

As a Yoga Fitness Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in promoting wellness and mindfulness within our Club community. Collaborating closely with the Wellness Manager, you will lead regular yoga and fitness classes each week, both in group settings and one-on-one personal training sessions, and be available to fill in as a substitute instructor as needed. Your passion for yoga, intentional movement, and commitment to helping others achieve their fitness goals will ensure exceptional experiences for our members.

Responsibilities

• Teach effective fitness and yoga classes weekly 
• Sub for other instructors as needed 
• Provide personalized one-on-one training sessions tailored to member’s needs 
• Demonstrate how to perform various exercises 
• Maintain a safe and healthy exercise environment 
• Educate members on proper techniques to avoid injury 
• Suggest alternative exercises/routines for members with specific needs 
• Motivate and inspire members to achieve their fitness goals 
• Teach proper breathing techniques 

• Promote additional club classes and services 
• Properly set up the teaching area with required equipment prior to classes 
• Ensure the teaching area is cleaned and organized after each class 
• Assist with maintaining fitness equipment 
• Assist with the promotion of fitness services 
• Maintain a strong knowledge of fitness trends 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• At least one year of customer service experience 
• Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit 
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English 
• Must be CPR certified 
• Must be yoga certified; additional fitness certifications are strongly encouraged 
• Personal training certification preferred 
• Must have a strong passion for assisting members in attaining their fitness and wellness goals 
• Must have strong knowledge of the fitness industry 
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
