As a Spa Coordinator, you'll be an integral part of our team, ensuring that every guest experience is characterized by warmth, professionalism, and exceptional service. As the Spa Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, greeting them with a friendly smile and extending a warm welcome. Your responsibilities will include booking spa appointments, handling payments, and performing basic reception duties with efficiency and grace. Maintaining Tamarack’s Standards of Guest Service is paramount, and you'll play a vital role in upholding these esteemed standards at all times. Your dedication to our standards will shine through in every interaction, both with guests and fellow team members.

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador of Tamarack Resort and the Spa & Salon by warmly greeting and welcoming guests upon their arrival, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
• Schedule appointments with accuracy, and handle guests questions and concerns in person and via phone calls, with professionalism and courtesy.
• Manage flow of communication via phone, email and face-to-face, ensuring all inquiries are responded to in a timely manor.
• Provide guests with a tour of our facilities, including providing assistance with lockers, spa robes, and slippers.
• Ensure the spa is prepared and fully operational for the day.
• Stock supplies for guest use, as well as retail and professional use.
• Educate guests about our spa services and retail products, assisting them in making informed choices.
• Utilize our POS system to check out guests and process retail merchandise transactions with attention to detail.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of all spa areas, ensuring a serene environment for guests.
• Launder specific linens in-house, and transport others to and from our housekeeping team.
• Place orders for food items, retrieve orders from the Reserve, arrange elegant table settings for groups, and serve beverages for guests, enhancing their relaxation experience.
• Assist in setting up and flipping treatment rooms, ensuring appointments start on time.
• Complete end of day procedures, ensuring the spa is secure and ready for the next day.
• Actively promote the spa and salon services, retail and promotions.
• Assist in all areas of spa and salon operation as requested by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in spa reservations and hospitality is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of customer service experience is required.
• Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent guest service skills.
• Enjoy working with people and possess a positive, friendly and outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication, listening and computer skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Spa Soft experience a plus.
• Must maintain confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with Tamarack policy.
