Tamba is a new contemporary Indian dining concept set to open on in Town Square Las Vegas. With a focus on Coastal Indian cuisine, our restaurant promises an immersive dining experience that blends modern luxury with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. We emphasize a "land to table" ethos, highlighting seasonal and fresh ingredients prepared in our raw bar, charcoal manghal & oven, clay tandoor, and Asian wok.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team and oversee the operations of Tamba. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of high-end dining experiences. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service, maintaining operational efficiency, and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service Implement and maintain operational procedures and standards.
Monitor and manage inventory, supplies, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and manage staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Develop staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and performance expectations. Implement training programs to maintain high standards of service and quality.
Guest Experience:
Ensure exceptional guest service, addressing any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain a presence on the floor to engage with guests and oversee service.
Implement and uphold service standards to create a welcoming and luxurious dining atmosphere.
Financial Management:
Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures. Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.

Marketing and Promotions:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities.
Utilize social media and other channels to enhance the restaurant’s visibility and reputation. Plan and coordinate special events and seasonal promotions.
Quality Control:
Ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Work closely with the Executive Chef to maintain menu consistency and innovation. Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a high-end restaurant or hospitality environment. Proven track record of successful team management and operational oversight.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Deep understanding of Indian cuisine and cultural nuances is a plus.
Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Compensation: 80K
Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Performance-based bonuses.
