Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily activities, personal care, and ensure their well-being. Currently looking for Wed/Thur/Sun night shifts from 9:00 PM to 0700 AM. Fill in day shifts available
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Assist with mobility, including transferring and lifting clients
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of basic nursing procedures
- Experience in nursing home, memory care, or home care settings is beneficial
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and record medical information
- Capability to lift and transfer clients safely
- Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
