JOB SUMMARY

The Procurement Analyst will ensure seamless end-to-end support for the company’s dynamic procurement team. Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, they’ll thrive in a challenging environment, navigating ambiguity with ease.

Their responsibilities will go beyond the routine – they'll be instrumental in structuring and prioritizing tasks, ensuring efficiency in an ever-changing landscape. Their strategic mindset will be the key to implement initiatives that align with the company’s organizational goals and transformation.

1. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1.1. Strategic Task Management:

• Demonstrate the ability to structure, prioritize tasks, and focus efforts effectively within an ever-changing and ambiguous work environment.

1.2. Procurement Forecasting Expertise:

• Exhibit proficiency in procurement forecasting, conducting pricing, volume, and Purchase Price Variance (PPV) reporting on a monthly basis.

1.3. KPI Ownership and Reporting:

• Take ownership of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, including but not limited to PPV, cost savings, value creation, and departmental metrics.

1.4. Strategic Planning Capability:

• Demonstrate a proven ability to implement both short- and long-term strategies, aligning them with organizational goals and facilitating operational transformation.

1.5. Spend Analytics and Sourcing Excellence:

• Conduct comprehensive spend analytics, identifying strategic sourcing levers to achieve targeted savings through well-executed initiatives.

1.6. Supplier Relationship Support:

• Collaborate with Category Managers as needed, providing essential support in supplier relationships and communication.
• Evaluate and measure supplier performance to ensure alignment with performance expectations through score-carding.

1.7. Strategic Sourcing Event Support:

• The Provide crucial support to Category Managers in executing strategic sourcing events. This includes the development of sourcing profiles, strategic execution, and the effective management of supplier contracts and pricing agreements.

1.8. Working Capital Management:

• Play a key role in reducing working capital through ownership and effective management of key reporting data and metrics. Communicate proactively with departmental leadership and Category Managers.

1.9. Hands-On Procurement Operations:

• Execute procurement of materials in the absence of a Category Manager or as assigned by leadership, ensuring seamless continuity in the procurement process.

2. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is highly preferred.
• Demonstrate two (2) to five (5) years of experience in purchasing analytics, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the field.
• Have a prior understanding of purchasing procedures and policies, contributing to seamless procurement processes.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a preference for previous negotiation experience.
• Showcase strong proficiency in Microsoft applications, with an intermediate to advanced level in Excel, and familiarity with Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Organizational acumen: Possess excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision in all aspects of the role.
• Interpersonal proficiency: Exhibit excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, fostering positive relationships both internally and with suppliers.
• Analytical prowess: Possess keen analytical skills, allowing for insightful and data-driven decision-making.
