We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Corona, CA. The schedule is Monday-Friday 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This is a direct hire.

Job Responsibilities:
· Proficiency in use of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, thread gauges, CMM etc).
· Knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints to inspect parts to meet the drawing specifications using a GD&T format.
· Have a thorough understanding of AS 9102 Standards to execute FAI Reports.
· Perform all tasks related to Receiving, RMA, In-Process and Final Inspection for parts, components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.
· Preparation and Review of all shipments (parts and documentation) for compliance to internal procedures and contract requirements; must be familiar with contract flow down requirements.
· Help manage the gage track system and make sure that all tools are entered and checked out according to procedure
· Responsible for initiating non-conformance reports and CARs when issue arise according to procedure
· Oversees, coordinates, and schedules on-site customer or government source inspections; maintains business relationship with third party inspectors for government and various commercial customers.
· File and maintain inspection related documents, records and reports related to inspection.
· Update the E2 system with current job status as well as any other documentation that needs to be entered into the system
· Additional duties and responsibilities may be added or adjusted as deemed necessary by the department manager.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma
· 5 years experience
Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to read and interpret blue prints
· Understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
· Strong math, preferable machine math
· Read measurement equipment such as caliper, micrometer, pressure micrometer
· Ability to follow work instructions
· Detail oriented
Compensation and Benefits:
· $20 - $25 per hour, depends on experience
