About Us: Tanda is a vibrant Tango dancing studio in North Miami offering a range of classes from First Steps to Advanced levels. We host group classes on weekday evenings, private classes on weekday mornings and afternoons, and a Milonga on Saturday evenings for intermediate and advanced dancers. Our studio features a wine bar with a selection of wines by the glass and bottles, and we are developing a complementary food menu. We also host private events, such as birthday parties and anniversaries, accommodating up to 120 guests.

Job Description: We are urgently seeking a dynamic and dedicated bartender to
join our team. The ideal candidate must be a team player who will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, maintaining the wine bar inventory, and
ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
• Provide guidance on the wine menu and make recommendations.
• Serve wine and other beverages efficiently.
• Maintain the wine bar inventory, including ordering and restocking.
• Clean, wash, and store glasses and utensils.
• Operate the POS system for sales transactions.
• Assist with small kitchen tasks, including cleaning and basic food prep.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning restrooms and floors in the bar area and the main dance studio.
• Ensure the bar and kitchen areas are tidy and organized.

Requirements:

• Food handling certification is mandatory.
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
• Previous experience in bartending and customer service.
• Ability to operate a POS system.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A keen interest in learning about our studio operations.
• Ability to work evenings and late nights as required.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 29 per week
