A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Assists the Talent Acquisition & Operations teams, hiring managers and other employees with administrative support as it relates to the scheduling of interviews, and hiring of talent at Tandem Diabetes Care. Contributes to the overall success of the team by playing an important role by creating a positive candidate experience for anyone who applies, interviews, and potentially accepts an offer with us.
  • Serves as primary interview scheduling contact; schedules interviews, reserves conference rooms, distributes candidate information to interview teams, coordinates with reception, and troubleshoots scheduling conflicts as they arise.
  • Conducts preliminary phone screens on non-exempt positions.
  • Coordinates candidate travel arrangements and assists with candidate expense reimbursement.
  • Tracks and files candidate feedback forms and coordinates consensus meetings.
  • Provides applicant tracking system support from posting positions to candidate workflow.
  • Transitions pending new hires from Applicant Tracking System (ATS) into Onboarding system.
  • Coordinates and initiates the New Hire Onboarding Program.
  • Creates offer letters and other documents with confidential information.
  • Provides general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, arranging meetings, composing regular correspondence, processing confidential reports and documents and creating employee personnel files and uploading onboarding documentation for all new hires and tracking deadlines.
  • Provides support for timely and accurate data entry and maintenance of HRIS new hires and rehires.
  • Partners closely with Payroll to coordinate flow of updates and changes to meet payroll deadlines.
  • Establishes employee personnel files during onboarding of new hires
  • Prepares staffing reports, such as Open Positions report on a regular basis.
  • Participates in Talent Operations projects by providing administrative support.
  • Ensures work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.

  • Organized and attentive to detail, with excellent follow through skills.
  • Proven exemplary customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Experience in handling confidential information.
  • Able to effectively share information related to work product in verbal and written form.
  • Able to contribute to the team by supporting the acceptance of new team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately and independently, follow instructions and schedules, meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Prior recruiting administrative experience strongly required.
YOU'LL NEED:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
  • 1-year relevant experience.
  • Experience with recruitment processes and applicant tracking systems required.

COMPENSATION:
The pay for this position is $23.00 per hour. Pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate's location and the overall job market.
*This is a temporary position. As a temporary employee you will be employed through a staffing agency partner. Benefits during your temporary assignment may be provided by the staffing agency. Access to Tandem sponsored benefits is contingent upon conversion from temporary to regular full-time status. Conversion is determined based upon business need and job performance.
YOU SHOULD KNOW: Potential new employees must successfully complete a drug screen (excludes marijuana) and background check which includes criminal search, education certification and employment verification prior to hire.
