The Web Fulfillment Specialist supports the more complex tasks within the web fulfillment of Tandy Leather’s e-commerce business both domestically and internationally. Located in the Fort Worth Distribution Center, this position is responsible for the timely fulfillment of customer orders placed through various Tandy ecommerce sites. The Web Fulfillment Specialist is expected to be an escalation point for large orders, drop-ship, and other more complex order types. As part of the Fort Worth Distribution Center Team, they are expected to work alongside other members of the DC Team for daily warehouse operations as well as both the Tandy Customer Service and Product Management Teams to continuously review and improve customer communication and product demand processes for the entire organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor order queue for aging orders and prioritize their fulfillment.
• Monitor order queue for advanced orders such as international, special order, drop ship, etc.
• Support the billing team by performing data entry into financial systems of record.
• Troubleshoot order and billing issues.
• Partner with customer service for hands-on support on customer questions and escalations.
• Pick and pack orders to support the overall ecommerce fulfillment team.
• Communicate with various business partners by email and company chat groups to stay updated on activities outside the standard workflow.
• Assists with continuous improvement activity - reviews, analyzes, modifies, and implements efficient and effective department processes, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor packing supply levels and partner with management to reorder as needed.

Education and Experience

• 2 years of related distribution or fulfillment operations experience is required.

Skill Requirements

• Knowledge of both distribution and fulfillment center operations’ best practices
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Ability to perform the physical labor as necessary (must be able to lift 50 lbs.)
• Knowledge of ADP, General Microsoft Suite, Shipstation, Shopify, Givex, UPS Campus Ship, LS/BC, Deputy software/applications is helpful.
• Technological acumen to learn new software systems.
