A top credit asset manager hedge fund seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented team player to join as their new Head of Liability Management. In this role, the Head of Liability Management will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and negotiating the most efficient, cost-effective, and flexible leverage terms as well as on-going management of credit facilities.
Responsibilities: The Head of Liability Management will:

• Support deal allocation by strategy, liquidity, target returns, minimum and maximum position size
• Take proactive management of each credit facility by fund to track and model existing and future increases and declines in borrowing bases
• Work with Senior Management to ensure ample cushion within each vehicle and communicate potential issues to ensure borrowing base compliance
• Proactively manage existing and potential lending relationships. Spearhead all efforts on new financing or refinancing of existing facilities
• Act as a liaison across functions to obtain, analyze, and synthesize information from the Investment, Finance & Operations, and Legal teams to prepare and update weekly management reports (borrowing base compliance, available capital by fund, deal allocation, etc.
• Support the Investment, Finance, and Operations teams with real time information regarding capital availability to facilitate forward looking origination deal structuring that is optimized to fund targets and requirements
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in Private Credit and/or a similar role
• Bachelor's Degree
• Demonstrated experience in public and private funds with BDC familiarity
• Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Experience with Project Management
• Solid analytical, quantitative, research skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
