Tandym Group is Hiring a Practice Manager- Orthopedic Office Near Englewood, NJ

A private practice in North Jersey, with multiple locations, is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their team as their new Practice Manager. In this role, the Practice Manager will be responsible for managing the work of all clinical and non-clinical team members to ensure service delivery in practice and all operational aspects within the practice.
About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 9am to 5:30pm

Responsibilities:The Practice Manager will:

  • Coordinate regular team meetings and send recaps to the team
  • Provide support and direction to enhance performance, skills, and knowledge of practice team within the practice
  • Troubleshoot problems such as non-working equipment, patient complaints, inefficiencies, adequate staffing, workplace conflicts, and other items that may disrupt operations
  • Monitor time and attendance, hold team members accountable to adhering to the time and attendance policy
  • Review practice reports, KPI's, and work with various departments on improvement initiatives
  • Implement an effective inventory system
  • Handle other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of related experience in a Healthcare setting
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Working knowledge of Medical Billing procedures
  • Thorough understanding of Medical Front Office Operations, including reception/registration, scheduling, determination of eligibility, prior authorizations, and collection of copays/outstanding patient balances
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
  • Solid problem solving and time management skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:

  • Master's Degree
  • EHR knowledge / experience
