A medical services company in New York City is looking to add a new, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to their growing team in Brooklyn. In this role, the Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing care for adult and pediatric patients facing chronic and complex conditions.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 5 days per week
- Hours: 6:30am to 7pm & 6:30pm to 7am
Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will:
- Conducting patient assessments and measuring vital signs
- Administering vaccines and medications to patients
- Monitoring the patient's progress and changes in behavior
- Recognizing and treating any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocols
- Preparing and submitting all services delivered through our report system within 24 hours of the patient consultation
- Providing necessary assistance to ensure system sanitation, readiness, and adherence to quality assurance standards
- Remaining up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses, and registrations
- Performing other duties, as required
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
Desired Skills:
- 2 years of Nursing experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience performing Wound Care
- Experience working with vulnerable populations
