A recognized healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a new Epic Certified Hospital Billing Analyst to manage Charge Router and Charge Handler as well as Person/Patient and Family Engagement (PFE) for paperless billing.
About the Opportunity:

• Setting: 100% Remote
• Hours: 8/8:30am to 4:30/5pm (EST)

Responsibilities:
The Epic HB Analyst will be responsible for:

• Providing application support in Epic Hospital Billing for Charge Router and Charge Handler as well as Person/Patient and Family Engagement (PFE) for paperless billing
• Joining the Revenue Integrity Work Group
• Working with staff to help them understand how to use the application
• Recommending packages, updates, modifications and configurations based on best practices

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Full Lifecycle Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Application Analyst performing design, build, test, train, optimization and support.
• Prior experience performing system patches/upgrades, redesigning work queues and workflows
• Well-rounded knowledge in all revenue cycle areas and excellent knowledge in Revenue cycle workflows, including billing.
• Epic Certified in Hospital Billing Claims and Router Handler modules - really looking for 2023 or 2024 Epic Certifications in both, but might consider a candidate with 2022 if they are on track to get New Version Training as soon as their current one expires

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience and/or Epic Certification in CDM (Charge Description Master)
• Experience and/or Epic Certification in SBO (Single Billing Office)
• Claims experience
