Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Sales Consultant with expertise in digital transformation and delivery management to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital technologies and their application in driving business transformation initiatives. The IT Sales Consultant will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, consulting with clients on their digital journey, and delivering tailored solutions that align with their strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital Transformation Consulting: Collaborate with clients to assess their current digital landscape, understand their business goals and challenges, and develop customized digital transformation strategies and roadmaps.
  • Solution Identification: Leverage your expertise in digital technologies, including cloud computing, data analytics, AI, IoT, and cybersecurity, to identify and recommend innovative IT solutions that address client needs and drive business outcomes.
  • Delivery Management Support: Provide support to delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment between client expectations and project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and facilitating resolution of any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share in the digital transformation space, including identifying target industries and key accounts, conducting market research, and building strong client relationships.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare compelling proposals and presentations outlining recommended digital transformation solutions, including scope of work, timelines, and pricing, tailored to meet client requirements and objectives.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and prioritize sales opportunities effectively, tracking progress through the sales cycle, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and providing regular updates to sales leadership on sales forecasts and performance metrics.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in the digital transformation space, and leverage this knowledge to identify new business opportunities and differentiate our offerings in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT sales or consulting, with a focus on digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales revenue and achieving sales targets in the technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies and their application in driving business transformation, with experience in areas such as cloud computing, data analytics, AI, IoT, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in delivery management, digital transformation or project management is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans, identify market opportunities, and build strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving innovation and business growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
