Qualifications - 1 year of experience preferred.
- CDL Class B Commercial License with air brake endorsement.
- Mammography registry within 1 year of hire.
- Qualified by MQSA standards.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Training in an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Area of Responsibilities - Exhibits department and facility mission characteristics with patients, visitors, family members, co-workers, physicians and/or office staff members and others they may come in contact with as a representative of Tanner Health System, always presenting exemplary customer service.
- Maintains appropriate and accurate records for each patient encounter, assuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Performs quality mammography and radiographic exams, i.e., mammography, stereotactic breast biopsies, needle localization and bone density; consistently meeting standards set by ACR and THS Radiologists.
- Responsible for continuous compliance and maintenance of QA/QC functions related to mammographic equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining all licenses (i.e. CDL), ACR and MQSA accreditations.
- Completes Net Learning requirements.
- Demonstrates competency and ability to navigate all computer modalities (Meditech, PACS and Web PACS, etc.).
- Demonstrates competency in patient care according to the age of the patient and population served; adult and geriatric. (a) demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs (b) demonstrates knowledge of growth and development (c) demonstrates understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients (age and diagnosis).
- Demonstrates knowledge and compliance with hospital policy and procedures including but not limited to: safety, life safety, security, equipment, utilities, disaster preparedness, hazardous materials and waste. Follows Standard Precautions.

- Responsible for proper vehicle maintenance. i.e. proper tire inflation, oil changes, generator service, etc.
- Safely and appropriately performs any other designated duties.
- Shared driving responsibilities of a 40 foot straight truck that performs mobile mammography and bone density procedures following proper safe driving practices.
Compliance Statement Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program. Is responsible to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Hotline.
