Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant - Receptionist facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a fast-growing accounting firm and be involved in a great working environment. This position is an in-office job that will require you to be in our Salt Lake City office.
Pay: $17 - $20 an hour DOE
Schedule:
  • Full time 40 hours
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8AM- 5PM
  • In person at the Salt Lake City office. Some overtime is expected at various times of the year
We are seeking an organized and proactive individual to join our organization. The Administrative Assistant - Receptionist responsibilities would be:
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Welcomes and directs all guests and clients to our firm
  • Answers, screen, and transfers phone calls
  • Processes and distributes all incoming/outgoing mail
  • Maintains filing system as assigned
  • Maintains office supplies and all orders
  • Maintains Receptionist handbook
  • Stocks snacks/drinks in breakroom(s)
  • Handles various schedules
  • Puts together lunches and other events
  • Works with Office Manager and/or building management to keep our office running smoothly
  • Has integrity, is disciplined, and manages deadlines
  • Helps with other clerical and administrative responsibilities for team members at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive client information with discretion
  • Assist our Lehi office for various needs
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Is dependable and has exceptional phone and customer service skills
  • Has integrity, is disciplined, and manages deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
  • Ability to work independently
  • Positive personality with a “WHATEVER IT TAKES” attitude
