Receiving Process Associate

What You'll Do:

• Load/unload trucks using forklift or pallet jack checking for damage/shortages
• Inspect/verify quantities, item numbers, descriptions against purchase orders utilizing a RF scanner
• Sort inventory for distribution and put away
• Report damages or shortages following process guidelines
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong detail-orientation
• Complete daily equipment inspection checklists
• Willingness/ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) - stand up lifts, Bendy's, order pickers, and sit-down propane forklifts to move and shift material on the warehouse floor and racking
• Clean work area(s) daily to maintain a safe working environment at the facility
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards
• Willingness to work extra hours occasionally
• Other Responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Bring:

• Six months or more of related experience and/or training is preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• High school diploma or equivalent to GED
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required
• Forklift experience a plus
• Strong relationship management skills
• Experience with Lean and 5s methodologies
• Ability to grow and maintain relationship with any individual, irrespective of the background and type of personality
• Possession of good sense of humor
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong creativity and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work with recent technological applications relating to daily tasks
• Possess reliable problem-solving ability
