We are seeking an artistic Designer with a ‘can-do’ attitude to join our award-winning design studio where we partner with some of the largest beverage brands in the world designing tap handles and other custom draft solutions.

Our design-to-delivery cycle is short, and you will see your work hit the market in a matter of months. A successful candidate will contribute to and assist in bringing beverage brands to life from concept ideation through design sign-off. You will work directly with beverage customers to understand their brands and objectives, sketch product ideas, and refine proposed designs with a collaborative approach until a final custom design is ready to order for manufacturing.

Responsibilities/Opportunities:

• Collaborate directly with clients to understand their needs and design requirements; develop and present design concepts to clients or stakeholders.
• Regularly engage with customers virtually and in person to gauge design reception.
• Understand beverage brand and product objectives
• Produce high quality hand sketched ideas
• Refine the sketch designs with customer feedback
• Developing an understanding of our broad manufacturing capabilities such as: metal machining, wood working, urethane casting, die-casting, injection-molding, electroplating, powder coating, 3D printing, artwork decoration and more to incorporate into designs.

Skills:

• Excellent hand sketching abilities for rapid thumbnail concept generation
• Excellent verbal and visual communication skills
• Proficiency with Adobe Suite
• Strong working knowledge of Blender or ZBrush or Rhino3D

Requirements:

• A portfolio of work demonstrating strong illustrative character design
• Willingness and interest to collaborate directly with customers
• Ability to deliver high-quality artwork against tight deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness and interest to relocate to Seattle (if outside)
