In this pivotal role, you will oversee the design and development of advanced truss systems for both commercial and residential projects. Your strategic vision and management expertise will drive our team to stay ahead of industry trends and deliver cutting-edge solutions that set us apart in the building and remodeling markets.Primary Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage the truss design team, ensuring the development and implementation of structural and truss designs based on blueprints.
• Oversee and guide team members in resolving complex structural design challenges across various projects.
• Coordinate and troubleshoot issues related to onsite expansion projects, providing strategic solutions.
• Ensure all truss systems are designed to meet regional load requirements and adhere to building codes.
• Optimize truss designs for production efficiency and quality control.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors regarding prints and construction concerns, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Finalize truss systems for production, maintaining accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Supervise the creation of detailed 2D and 3D layouts and prints for truss systems, ensuring precision and adherence to project requirements.

• Proficiency in truss component software, such as MiTek is a plus, with a strong understanding of its application in design regardless.
• Proven managerial experience with a track record of leading design teams and projects effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for troubleshooting design and construction issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to staying current with industry trends and technological advancements.
