Tarzana Treatment Centers is hiring Counselors to perform intake assessments with patients seeking treatment in a behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate would have working knowledge of addiction and substance use disorders and would learn the ASAM assessment tool and submit authorizations for levels of care including withdrawal management, residential rehab, outpatient, and MAT programs. Counselors work in tandem with an integrated care team to determine the initial level of care needed and assess both scheduled patients and patients seeking care same day. All candidates must be registered or certified by an approved Alcohol and Drug certification agency and completion or in progress an Addiction Studies programs.
