The Waste Services Customer Care Supervisor will lead the customer service functions for the primary waste group, and will coordinate the movement of waste, waste tracking, profiling and assist in assuring compliance with all waste and environmental regs

JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is responsible for leading the waste services process including assignment of profiling and service-related tasks within the waste group. Additionally, taking incoming customer calls related to service requests, issues, invoice questions and on-line service support. The Customer Care Supervisor will directly support the operations and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provides routing for profiling requests based on established assignments.
2. Monitors workload amongst the profilers and makes spot adjustments in assignments as needed.
3. Recommends longer term assignments based on anticipated workload and new customer acquisition.
4. Participates in Channelview leadership meetings and keeps team aligned.
5. Interacts with branches to solve service and technical concerns.
6. Maintains timekeeping and other WFG requirements for hourly employees in the waste group.
7. Executes or insures:

a. Creates sales orders and proposals for customer service requests.

b. Ensure profile documents are correct, schedule customer requests.

c. Prepare DOT paperwork including manifest, placards, and labels.

d. Assemble and organize billing documents.

e. Update waste tracking systems.

f. Accurate daily data entry

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Computer Skills:

Experience with Microsoft Office products and some ability to adapt to other computer software.

EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Prior knowledge/experience working with RCRA, DOT or TCEQ. Experience with profiling and Waste Management.

PHYSICAL/ MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to deal with a variety of variables under only limited standardization.

Able to interpret various instructions.

COMMUNICATIONS ABILITY:

Ability to compute with various levels throughout the organization. Working knowledge to communicate job requirements and answer candidate questions.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Ability to read and write a variety of books, magazines, instruction manuals and .Ability to prepare memos, reports, and essays using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
