Job Summary
As an Experienced Accountant at Tax and Accounting Services Company, Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of our clients' general ledgers to ensure proper reporting under both GAAP and tax basis accounting. You will be required to prepare tax basis financial statements with accrual-to-cash adjustments, and have experience in reconciling general ledger balances to source documents.

Duties

• Classify transactions from bank feeds and make appropriate adjusting journal entries.
• Reconcile auto entries to POS and payroll reports, and make necessary entries where no auto feed is available.
• Maintain accurate reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts to source documents on a monthly basis.
• Prepare management reports on a tax basis in QuickBooks Online, exporting to Excel for formatting and senior accountant review.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards and maintain a high standard of financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 5 years of experience in accounting with a focus on compilations.
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and tax basis financial reporting standards.
• Strong understanding of Accrual to Cash Reconciliation
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior Remote experience (with references) preferred

Pay: $56,705.00 - $60,492.00 per year
