This full-time exempt role in our finance department involves reconciling investment and bank accounts, preparing month-end closing entries, processing month-end closings, and preparing financial reports for the month-end. Additionally, this role supports the annual budget process, maintains resident files, and addresses accounting issues unique to a Continuing Care Retirement Community.
Candidates must demonstrate critical thinking, positive problem-solving, and issue resolution skills, as well as effective interaction and communication abilities with residents, staff, and co-workers.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and have proficiency in Microsoft Office.
