Do you have a passion for healthcare and want to make a difference in someone’s life? The Gardens of Taylor Glen is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant / Transportation Aide to join our team.

We are looking for someone who will uphold our core values of providing exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to scheduled medical appointments; including but not limited to physician visits, hospital admissions and discharges, x-rays, glasses, hearing aides.
• Uses facility's appropriate vehicle / van equipped with a lift, to transport residents.
• Plans trips according to schedules posted by RN's and Supervisors
• Accountable for safety, confidentiality, and return to facility, of records that accompany resident to an appointment.
• Uses available equipment, including special wheelchairs and lifts, to safely transfer residents in an out of vehicles, medical offices, etc.
• Returns residents to facility following trips to appointments, and reports to nurse supervisor for instructions and to share pertinent information coming out of visit.
• Seeks immediate medical attention for residents who become ill while in transport to and / or from appointments, and promptly calls supervisor or DON to report incident.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification in good standing.
• Valid NC drivers license, with no serious traffic violations.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Schedule :

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• 8am-5pm
