As a Lead Shift Manager, you'll wear many hats, having a direct impact on the store’s success. You'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring a smooth flow from opening and closing. This includes tasks like cash handling, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and organized store. You'll be a leader, motivating and scheduling your team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals. On top of that, you'll be a problem-solver, addressing customer concerns and ensuring a safe and secure environment for everyone.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a team of associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
• Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized shopping environment for customers.
• Schedule and delegate tasks to optimize store efficiency.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to develop associates.
• Uphold company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate store records and reports.
• As business needs arise; other tasks may become necessary to support the team and the store

Qualifications:

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Availability to work weekends and flexible hours, including evenings and holidays.
• A passion for the home improvement industry is a plus.
• Knowledge and passion for hardware and tools is a plus.
• Customer service-oriented mindset
• Proven ability to provide a superior customer experience and drive customer loyalty
