TAYS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst and Tester. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with our customers to define and document business and technical requirements. You will collaborate with various teams including Product Owners, developers, testers, and DBAs to assess the level of effort, write automation test scripts, and review requirements. Additionally, you will attend daily scrum calls, demonstrate completed functionality, and assist in validating features.
This position is a permanent, W2 position and will consist of a hybrid schedule. Must be within 2 hours of Woodlawn, MD. What You’ll Get To Do

• Work with the customer to define and document business / technical requirements
• Attend daily scrum calls and provide status
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, testers, DBAs, etc. to review / document requirements, assess the level of effort, and write automation test scripts.
• Demonstrate completed functionality and assist other testers/Product Owners with approaches to validate features and refine test cases.
• Attend feature meetings with Agile team members to understand and refine business features.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

• Master's degree and 5 years of experience in a training-related field or Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience in a technical-related field
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

Key Required Skills

• Experience in defining business requirements focused on the customer experience
• Experience using agile techniques for requirements elicitation, software testing, quality assurance processes, and writing technical documentation
• Experience maintaining resources in configuration management tools, such as Team Foundation Server.
• Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience engaging in business process analysis, understanding the customer's business process requirements, and being capable of translating those business requirements into business and technical documentation and specifications.
• Experience with system testing and data analysis, which includes creating and running SQL Queries to validate system results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to learn and explain policies, processes, and technical information clearly and accurately.

Desired Skills

• Use of Selenium tool for web application and automating regression test cases.
• Develop Selenium / Cucumber scripts and unit test software modules/functionality.
• Peer review automation team member's code for quality and standards.
• Automation test results debugging.
• Experience in working in a scaled agile/scrum environment managing requirements, backlogs, and roadmaps of multiple projects and products.
