Full-Time Social Media & Events Manager

T-Mobile Premium Retailer – TCC Wireless

Job Summary:

The Social Media and Events Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining TCC Wireless’s public image through the implementation of marketing initiatives as well as the organizing and completing of company events. Their duties include communicating with company executives, marketing personnel and public figures, completing research into industry trends and public perception, and aiding in the creation of marketing and advertising campaigns to strengthen TCC Wireless’s brand identity.

Essential Functions:

• Ensures brand integrity in all respects.
• Leads the development of strategies and objectives for building and executing year-round brand engagement through partnerships, social media, events, public relations and other marketing campaigns.
• Planning and execution of all communications and media actions across all channels, including digital and conventional marketing.
• Strong analytical ability to analyze data and develop insights which lead to growth opportunities or innovations.
• Research and analysis of market and industry trends.
• Represents the company and provides support as needed at various trade shows and conventions.
• Competitor and customer insights analysis
• Be a team player and a respected leader
• Demonstrates initiative by identifying opportunities for leaders and departments to focus on.
• Negotiate and execute contracts for both large and small scale events.
• Event timeline set up
• Organization of guest speakers
• Supply coordination
• Event evaluation and troubleshooting
• Budget control
• Coordination of vendors and staff
• Planning all aspects of company events

Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Ability to work independently.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
• 2 years of experience in marketing and event planning
• General brand management experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Power Point/Word
• Strong understanding of Social Media platforms

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
