TCL CSOT AMERICA is Hiring a Sales Manager Near San Jose, CA

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sales Manager/Engineer for LCD/LED (LCD Display Industry)
  • Assist customer to understand all LCD/LED display products for various applications and screen sizes.
  • Seek potential customers (e.g., Corporate Customers, Value-Added Resellers, OEMs) through follow-up customer visits
  • Review and maintain documents for technical reports, application notes, and provide updates.
  • Discussing the product definition and specification with the customer
  • Analyze customer requirement and ensure product meet customer requirements appropriately.
  • Coordinate with internal team to identify and resolve issues no matter at development or MP stage
  • Be a technical contact window between customer and HQ supporting team
  • Manage products through their entire lifecycle until product EOL
  • Analyze market information to update the latest trend
  • Establishing and maintaining customer relations
  • Participate technical conference and maintain knowledge on industry trends
  • Plan and execute strategies to deliver targets for Profitability, Market share and Turnover with channel partners for CSOT display products.
  • Develop and sustain sales strategy with an objective of Maximizing Sell-Out and Enhancing Brand Equity.
  • Manage and Monitor sales operations on weekly basis and monitor progress monthly/quarterly
  • Develop Annual Sales Programs with customers along with negotiating Commercial and Trade Contracts.
  • Align Long Term Forecast with customers along with formulating Promotion Plans.
  • Manage limited resources optimally to plan and execute promotional activities with the customers

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience of Fortune 500 account management
  • Experience working with key IT and consumer product companies such as: Apple, Microsoft, HP, Dell, Amazon, and Google etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers as well as with peers and business partners
  • Candidate must be located in San Francisco bay area
  • Bachelors degree or higher, BSEE strongly preferred
  • More than 10 years of experience in LCD/LED display or related components industry.
  • At least 10- 20 years’ of relevant experience in Key Account Management. Must be able to work in both an engineering and commercial environment and be capable of reaching senior level management.
  • Thorough understanding of LCD/LED display or semiconductor manufacturing process.
  • Proficient in MS tools. Ability to develop and deliver high quality content for top management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer focus and strong ability to engage and communicate in a technical environment.
  • Demonstrates a high level of productivity and quality. Multitasks effectively
  • Strong drive for results, combined with a creative approach to problem solving and marketing management.
  • Priority setting & problem solving.
  • Experience from the consumer electronics or semiconductor industry is an added advantage.

Travel

  • Willing and able to travel frequently domestically and internationally, when applicable
  • Weekly customer visits to local customers in US.
  • Occasional travel to customers outside and overseas.
  • Regular visits to CSOT Headquarters in China Shenzhen/Guangzhou/Wuhan/Huizhou etc.
