Position Description:
TDI—a strategic advisory and risk intelligence firm—is currently looking for a Chinese-language Analyst to join our Due Diligence and Investigations (DD&I) practice in our Washington, D.C. office. The DD&I practice is responsible for conducting sophisticated open-source and human intelligence investigations that directly inform our client’s most critical business decisions and help them mitigate, manage, or exploit risk by providing the best intelligence available. This is an ideal role for a candidate with 1-3 years of work experience with a demonstrated background or interest in international affairs, investigations, and experience in a consulting or similarly fast-paced professional services environment.
The successful candidate is expected to comprehend complex global issues in various industries quickly while conducting detailed investigative research and analysis to identify and understand commercial, regulatory, and reputational risks. The candidate is also expected to be proficient in Chinese and have professional or academic experience related to China, Taiwan, or East Asia. An essential member of the DD&I practice, the Chinese-language Analyst will primarily be responsible for:
