Required Experience/Qualification
- Bachelor of Architecture required.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience preferred
- Registered NYS licensed architect (RA)
- Expertise with Microsoft Office and design software
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to multi-task and problem solving oriented
- Ability to operate in a pressurized environment and adhere to deadline
Primary Responsibilities
- Knowledge of capital design and construction
- Field experience for initial scope and inspections
- Design/supervise various aspects of a project for MTA infrastructure
- Analyze and review designs, modifications, perform reviews/calculations
- Provide architectural oversight for active construction projects
- Reviews the work of peers and provides constructive feedback
- Demonstrate knowledge of NYS building and design codes
- Coordinate with MTA C&D executives
- Perform technical and feasibility studies, analyze surveys, reports and as-builts
- Conduct site visits to review field conditions and identify design and construction risks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
