Job OverviewTE Connectivity’s Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication. As part of the Quality team in Mansfield, you will be joining a team of professionals who are passionate about ensuring the future growth of the business whilst maintaining integrity, taking accountability, working together and continually improving to ensure constant innovation and openness to change. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will provide Quality Assurance and Quality Control support to product development and operations functions including being responsible for driving zero escapes through the establishment and execution of proactive tools in advanced quality, manufacturing, and supply base. Job Responsibilities
Maintain quality plans for responsible value streams
Lead quality improvement projects
Lead problem-solving activities using 8D and/or other problem-solving methodology
Drive proactive quality initiatives needed to prevent quality problems
Improve work instructions and provide training
Review/approve First Article Reports (FAIRs)
Provide support for Design Reviews
Support Supplier Quality and Purchasing organizations to address supplier quality issues
Ensure proper control of nonconforming materials and lead MRB activities
Escalate and report on quality issues and status of action plans
Coordinate changes to products & processes and maintain/improve quality-related documentation
Plan and conduct process audits and product audits
Effectively address customer complaints, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer communications
Support customer audits, including coordination, communication, and responses
Essential Qualifications IncludeWhat your background should look like:
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with focus on quality assurance/quality engineering.
Self-motivation and ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Team development and coordination
Strong problem-solving skills and experience using 8D and Six Sigma
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
Hands on experience with FMEA, MSA, SPC
Working knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100, including auditing experience
Thorough understanding of GD&T
Other Desired Qualifications Include
Experience with electro-mechanical testing
Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment
Experience in the aviation, aerospace & defense industry
Experience with source inspection
Knowledge and experience in Continuous Improvement implementation
Knowledge & experience with Shainin methodology
Supervision experience
Six-sigma blackbelt certification
ASQ certification
Knowledge of SAP

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $$94,160 - $141,240 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
